Hi, Margeaux! You've led quite a career already. Who has had the biggest influence on your professional career?
Leslie Knope.
That's her second appearance in this column. Once you've completed a Knope-sized workday, what do you do to unwind?
Have a drink outside with the puppies.
What are their names?
Lilah and Sweet Pea.
And what are you drinking?
Rosé.
That sounds very classy. Usually, we're half asleep in front of the TV accompanied by an empty pizza box. What is your favorite pizza topping?
Olives and prosciutto.
Classy still ... OK, if money was no object, what are the first three things you would buy?
A haunted chateau in France; the world's largest animal sanctuary; and build a female-centric bookstore with childcare, tea, pastries and wine where it's acceptable to show up in pajamas.
Hopefully there's a way to combine all three! What's one productivity tool you couldn't live without?
Google Calendar.
Yet you still missed the deadline for this interview ... What's one thing you can't say no to?
Work.
OK, you're forgiven. Do you have any tattoos?
Yes, I do. I love the idea of adding art to yourself to view forever and ever.
No one ever tells us what they are, though. Where would you go during a zombie apocalypse?
My camper van.
What's your biggest pet peeve?
The scratching sound of a fork and knife against a plate.
So that's why we've never been invited for dinner. If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Curry specifically from Flames, a really great place in Tampa.
Right, our Outlook calendar says we have another interview in 5 minutes, so we'll keep the last few questions quick-fire. If you had to enter a talent show, what would be your performance?
Singing—I took opera singing lessons throughout college.
What three items would you take to a desert island?
Sunscreen, a lighter and a good book.
If you could appear on any game show, which one would you choose?
“Project Runway."
What is something you're looking forward to?
The new phase of Irys Cloud that is in the works.
And we're looking forward to hearing all about it. Thanks for joining us, Margeaux!
