Ivans Distribution Platform now supports 12 commercial lines with automated appetite assessment and digitized submissions and quoting.
Ivans®, a division of Applied Systems®, announced it is expanding the commercial lines supported on the Ivans Distribution Platform.
Ivans Distribution Platform connects agents to Ivans' platform of commercial markets, providing agents with an automated appetite assessment and digitized submissions and quoting directly to carriers' and managing general agents' systems.
The platform now supports cyber, directors & officers, errors & omissions, umbrella, inland marine, professional liability, commercial package, commercial property and commercial auto.
The latest commercial offerings join the three commercial lines markets that were already live on the platform: business owners policy, general liability and workers compensation.
“Carriers want to work in one place to manage their commercial rating connections and quoting, and Ivans Distribution Platform is that singular network that brings the connectivity and the agency distribution," said Reid Holzworth, CEO, Ivans. “With 12 lines now available, we are excited to broaden the available product panel for carriers and agents to automate more commercial lines workflows and continue making great strides in achieving our goal of providing digital submission options for all commercial lines of business."
Ivans also launched Ivans Bookroll™ for Commercial Lines, which allows carriers to securely transfer commercial lines policy data to quote and roll an agency's book of business online. As part of Ivans Exchange™, Ivans Bookroll enables carriers to evaluate and roll books of business from the more than 34,000 agencies in the Ivans network, while giving agents control to accept or reject book roll requests from their carrier partners.
The book roll solution aims to increase data accuracy and security, eliminate re-keying, reduce turnaround time, and automate the process for more efficient collaboration. The process is managed through a single interface, which Ivans says will create a transparent and consistent user experience between agencies and carriers.
Ivans Bookroll first launched for personal lines only, and in 2023 the personal lines portion has already supported nearly 1,000 book rolls with over $406 million in premiums for national and regional carriers.
“Since launching our Personal Lines Bookroll solution, we have seen carriers reduce the time spent on book rolls by over 90% and seen more than double the carriers using Ivans Bookroll, making the demand to solve this challenge for commercial lines become that much more of an opportunity for the industry," said Kathy Hrach, vice president of product management, Ivans. “Now carriers and agencies can collaborate digitally on new commercial business opportunities, so agents can offer the best policies to their customers and carriers can more quickly expand their distribution footprint."
