COVERAGE DETAILS: Metromile offers flexible coverage options, including different deductibles and limits for collision and comprehensive coverage. Metromile offers all the usual types of auto coverage you would expect, with add-on options available, including rental reimbursement, pet injury protection, roadside assistance, and no-deductible glass repair.

Additionally, with Metromile's Pulse device and app, drivers can access billing and trip summaries, track their budget, receive check engine light alerts, enable street sweeping notifications, and even track their car in the case of vehicle theft. Metromile is proud to boast a 90% recovery rate for stolen vehicles due to its Pulse device.

UNDERWRITING: When customers sign up with Metromile, they pay a low, locked-in monthly base rate plus a per-mile charge. By using real-time data from Metromile's Pulse device, rates are tailored to individual drivers.

MINIMUM PREMIUM: Drivers pay a base rate as low as $29 per month, which is adjusted by a few cents based on the number of miles driven. However, any miles driven over 250 miles per day—150 in New Jersey—are free.

TARGET: Metromile is a great fit for low-mileage drivers of all kinds—suburbanites, city dwellers, college students, seniors and remote workers.
